Habits Of Mind
The purpose of the problem in the story of Habits of mind by Arthur L. Costa, Ed. D. and Bena Kallick, Ph.D is to
respond to questions and problems that aren't known.
It speaks about how students use their knowledge instead of reproducing their knowledge.
According to Arthur L. Costa, Ed. D. and Bena Kallick, Ph.D. they observe the intelligence of humans,
the way they act and the information that they may have.
Some differences between producing knowledge reproducing knowledge is that when producing your knowledge you
use your ideas to do something, and when reproducing your knowledge you are brainstorming of what to do next.
Habits Of Mind is the dispositions skillfully and mindfully displayed by characteristically intelligent people
when confronted with problems the solution to which are not immediately apparent. The Habits of Mind are not thinking
tools, rather they are dispositions that inclines one to adopt a thinking tools and strategies.
The importance of intellectual behavior is to indicate if it does work on other humans.
Some ways we employ habits of mind is when solving problems such as: mathematical, reasoning, drama.etc.
What I would suspect in an intelligent people do to solve problems are to choose the right answers and right choice.
Some ways Habits of mind apply to me are of a daily basis. Habits of mind in my life is used occasionally in school,
at home and while going shopping when I have to think of doing something n solving problems n different places as
mentioned.
