MetaphorMetaphor is a comparison in two unlike things. It indicates direct comparison between two or more seemingly unrelated objects. Metaphors are widely used in literature especially poetry. It is used to express emotions and feelings with the usage of minimum words.Some metaphors used in Emily Dickenson's poetry "I'm Nobody! Who Are You?" are a comparison between two people sharing a life style using simile to describe their life in a short dramatic situation. They also use Hyberhole to identify the intensity going on in the poetry. Metaphore can be used in my life to analyze my life story .It can be used to describe many situations going on through out the day and life like situations.
